about dearbody

dearbody is a woman-owned clinic in Portland, OR providing acupuncture and East Asian medicine to the people of the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Our mission at dearbody is to support people along their healing paths by offering supportive, integrative & holistic care. We love working with people who are experiencing orthopedic issues, reproductive issues, anxiety, headaches/migraines, all types of pain, post car accident issues, etc... Although a majority of our client base is made up of veterans, tribal members & people who have medicaid insurance (Careoregon), we are open to everyone who resonates with our mission and our offerings.

challenging barriers and increasing access

As we grow, we commit to advocacy, challenging barriers, building inclusivity and strive for a strong sustainable community of healing. We are currently working with various Indigenous groups & other agencies serving historically underserved communities. Click below to read more about our work.

serving veterans since the beginning

We have been working with veterans since before our clinic opened and we love working with them for so many reasons — one of which is because Mallory’s grandpa was in the service for many years and, like many veterans, he now lives with chronic pain and is left with few options for pain relief. The Veteran’s Health Administration (VA) provides acupuncture visits through their community care program, which we are a part of. If you are a veteran, or know a veteran, read below to see how you can get visits with us at no cost to you!
