Acupuncture for Veterans
Did you know that you are eligible for acupuncture through the VA? Here’s what you can do:
Contact your primary care provider to request an acupuncture referral
Specify that you are wanting care at dearbody (they have our information)
The VA will process the referral through Triwest and will fax us the authorization
They will either give you the option of setting up the appointment, or they will call us to set up the appointment for you
Come in for your acupuncture appointment!

Acupuncture is proven to be effective at treating both acute and chronic pain conditions. Most of our veterans have been sent to us for chronic pain. Through regular acupuncture visits, we have seen reduced pain, increased mobility, and improved quality of life.
